An important part of our new phase of activity, Orlando 2.0, is the expansion of our contributor base. To date, textbase entries have been produced by project teams at the University of Alberta and University of Guelph who have used desktop software, such as oXygen XML Editor, to write and tag our documents. Thanks to the development of CWRC-Writer, an in-browser markup editor created by CWRC, scholars can create new and update existing Orlando entries from anywhere in the world. This provides us with an exciting opportunity to collaborate with feminist scholars whose own work intersects with the authors and topics explored in the textbase. We aim to harness the potential of this development by working with external contributors who will produce new or revised entries for inclusion the inclusion. All entries will be peer-reviewed and contributors will be credited for their published work.
